Most Chrysler Corp. (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) new 2012 models are already out but dealers still have left-over 2011 models that must be sold in clearance sales.

To help dealers sell surplus 2011 inventory, Chrysler is currently giving dealers “hidden” factory-to-dealer cash for each 2011 vehicle sold. Dealers can use this cash almost any way they choose but most of it goes back to customers in the form of big price discounts. This money is sometimes called, “marketing support.”

Chrysler’s current (November 2011) dealer cash offerings are the largest in the industry and apply to nearly every 2011 model vehicle. Furthermore, each of the vehicles also has a $1000 “conquest” bonus rebate which applies if a customer has at least one non-Chrysler vehicle in his household. It doesn’t have to be a trade-in.

What this means is that customers who are in the market for a Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep have an opportunity to get one of the best deals of the year out there right now in these “clearance” sales. These are all good deals because there are relatively minor differences between most 2011 and 2012 models.

Let’s take a look at the Chrysler factory-to-dealer cash offers available in November. By the way, if there are still significant numbers of 2011 vehicles still available in December and January, expect these incentives to continue into those months, but supplies and selections may be more limited.

2011 Chrysler 200 – $1000-$3000 depending on specific model

2011 Chrysler 300 – $3000-$4500 depending on specific model

2011 Chrysler Town & Country - $3000

2011 Dodge Avenger – $1000-$3500 depending on specific model

2011 Dodge Caliber – $1500

2011 Dodge Challenger- $2000

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan – $2500

2011 Dodge Journey – $2500

2011 Dodge Nitro – $3000

2011 Dodge Ram 1500 – $3500-$5250 depending on specific model

2011 Dodge Ram 2500 – $5000

2011 Dodge Ram 3500 – $5000

2011 Jeep Compass – $2000

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee – $2000

2011 Jeep Liberty – $3000

2011 Jeep Patriot – $2000

2011 Jeep Wrangler (except Unlimited Sport RHD) – $1000

Since these discounts are being funded by dealers’ parent company, Chrysler Corp., it’s only fair that the dealer himself should also contribute an additional discount from his own pocket. Be sure to ask if you go in for one of these deals.

You can get free price quotes on any of the above Chrysler vehicles from Edmunds.comThe quotes will automatically include any cash-back rebates or discounts that are currently available.

November brings a number of large rebates, especially on left-over 2011 models.

Typically, rebates only apply to selected models and styles, and only for a limited time.

Dealers apply rebates at the time of purchase. Rebates act as a down payment and reduce the amount a customer pays.

Rebate amounts can vary, depending on how strongly the manufacturer wants to promote that particular model.

Let’s take a look at some of the biggest and most attractive rebate offers for November 2011:

2012 Jeep Liberty – $3000

2011 Chrysler 200 – $4000

2011 Ford Flex – $3000

2011 Lincoln Town Car – $3000

2012 Chevrolet Impala – $3000

2011 Buick Lucerne – $4000

2011 Buick LaCrosse, Regal – $3000

2011 Cadillac Excalade EXT – $4000

2011 Chevrolet Silverado – up to $4500

2011 Chevrolet Avalanche – $4500

2011 Chevrolet Impala – $4000

2011 Chevrolet HHR – $3500

2011 Chevrolet Corvette, Malibu – $3000

2011 GMC Sierra 1500 – up to $4500

2011 GMC Yukon – $3500

2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD, 3500HD – $3000

2012 Mitsubishi Galant – $3000

2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor – $4500

2011 Mitsubishi Galant – $3500

2012 Nissan Titan – up to $3000

2011 Nissan Titan – up to $5250

2011 Nissan Armada – $4000

2011 Nissan Frontier – up to $3000

2011 Suzuki Equator – $3000

Since car companies are the ones funding rebates, customers should dealers to also contribute with an additional price discount funded from his own pockets. Dealer discounts on top of manufacturers’ rebates make for some very sweet deals.

You can get free price quotes on any of the above vehicles from Edmunds.comThe quotes will automatically include any cash-back rebates or discounts that are currently available.

Chevrolet has offered up a brand new set of rebates and other incentives for November 2011, actually good through December as well. So far, these seem to be some of the best rebates we’ve seen this month.

Although the rebates apply to selected models and styles of 2012 vehicles, the best deals are on leftover 2011 versions of the same models. Since very little changed between 2011 and 2012 models, the 2011 deals are especially good.

Some of the rebates are in the form of “secret” factory-to-dealer cash that is nearly always given to customers as a price discount. In either case, you should always ask your dealer to chip in an additional discount from his own pocket. Otherwise, he makes his full profit and lets the manufacturer take the entire financial hit.

Let’s take a look at the best Chevrolet deals for November and December:

2012 Chevrolet Avalanche – $2500 rebate

2011 Chevrolet Avalanche – $4500 rebate

Honda is doing it again. They’ve announced a number of outstanding new car lease deals for November. Actually the deals are good through December as well — until 1/3/2012. All are available for less than $300 a month, some less than $200.

They’ve also brought back one of our favorite kind of lease deals — a choice of making a down payment, or no up-front cash at all. They call this deal their $0-$0-$0-$0 lease. This means you pay no money at lease signing, no down payment, no security deposit, and no first month’s payment. However, if you choose to pay money at signing, you lower your monthly payments a bit.

All of the current Honda car leases are for brand new 2012 models, for 36 months and 36,000 miles. If you exceed the 36,000 miles, the excess-miles fee is a very sensible $0.15 mile. You would pay only $150 for every 1000 miles you are over your allowed miles — cheaper than a rental car.

Here are the new Honda lease deals for November and December 2011:

Honda Accord Coupe EX – $249/month, $2019 due at signing – OR - $310/month $0 due at signing (90 – Outstanding)

Honda Accord Sedan EX – $199/month, $1999 due at signing – OR – $260/month $0 due at signing (92 – Outstanding)

Honda Civic Sedan LX – $179/month, $1999 due at signing - OR – $230/month $0 due at signing (86 – Excellent)

Honda Crosstour 2WD EX V6 – $259/month, $3199 due at signing – OR - $340/month $0 due at signing (91 – Outstanding)

Honda CR-V 2WD LX – $219/month, $1999 due at signing – OR - $270/month $0 due at signing (85 – Excellent)

Honda Odyssey LX – $299/month, $1999 due at signing – OR - $260/month $0 due at signing (84 – Excellent)

Honda Pilot 2WD LX – $289/month, $1999 due at signing – OR - $340/month $0 due at signing (87 – Excellent)

The numerical score you see at the end of each of the above listing is the Lease Value rating by LeaseGuide.com. It rates each lease deal in terms of its value when compared to other leases. Ratings are Poor / Average / Good / Excellent / Outstanding. As you can see the Honda lease deals are some of the best in the industry.

If you are looking for a Honda, you can’t beat the brand in terms of quality, reliability, and value.

As a reminder, you must have good credit in order to take advantage of the above Honda lease deals. If you don’t know your most recent credit score, you should. Don’t let a dealer know more about you than you know about yourself. You can get your current free credit score at FreeCreditScore.comwith a simple signup.

As you may already know from reading our postings on this web site, car manufacturers and dealers announce new incentives every month. Next month’s deals may be better or worse, or about the same, as this month’s.

We won’t really know what November 2011 car deals will look like until a few days into the month when new incentive programs are announced to dealers.

However, as always, we try to take a look ahead to see what we might expect.

We still haven’t seen the expected incentive war that could be started by Toyota and Honda having now returned to full production after the Japanese earthquake earlier this year. We feel that when they get the pipeline filled and get plenty of cars on dealers’ lots, these companies will begin offering some very attractive car deals to bring customers back to their showrooms. Of course, this will lead other car companies to offer even better incentives to keep customers from running back to Toyota and Honda. It’s going to be interesting, whenever it starts — maybe in November.

Let’s take a look at what we know now.

There are a few good long-term incentives out there that are worth considering. These are typically for left-over 2010 models and come in the form of factory-to-dealer cash that dealers give back to customers as price discounts. The deals expire around December 31 — or when all the vehicles have been sold. Here are some examples:

2010 Nissan 370Z Convertible – $1500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Saab 9-3 Convertible – $6000 factory to dealer cash

2010 Saab 9-3 Sedan and Wagon – $4500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Saab 9-5 Aero Sedan – $5500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor – $4500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mitsubishi Eclipse and Spyder – $3000 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mitsubishi Galant – $3500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Sportback – $2000 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mitsubishi Outlander – $2000 factory to dealer cash

2010/2011 Mercury Grand Marquis – $5500 factory to dealer cash

2010/2011 Mercury Mariner – $3500 factory to dealer cash

2010/2011 Mercury Milan – $3500 factory to dealer cash

2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid- $5500 factory to dealer cash

If you are interested in any of these deals, you should expect your dealer to give you an additional discount (from his own pocket) on top of the factory-to-cash he’s getting from from his car company.

You can get free price quotes on any of the above cars from Edmunds.comThe quotes will automatically include any cash-back rebates or discounts that are currently available.

This month, the good lease deals are on the Infiniti G models.

The best deal is on the 2011 Infiniti G25 Journey Sedan with Moonroof. The lease has a $319 monthly payment, 39 months, $2999 due at signing.

Similar deals are available on the 2011 Infiniti G37 Journey Sedan with Premium Package. The monthly payment is $359 a month, 39 months, $3499 due at signing.

The Infiniti G37 Journey Coupe with Premium Package is available for $339 a month, 39 months, $3499 due at signing.

If you prefer not to lease, the 2010 G37 Coupe is available with a 0% APR loan rate for up to 36 months. Note that this deal is on a leftover 2010 model, not the new 2011 model.

If you think you might like one of the above lease deals but don’t quite understand how car leasing works, we suggest you take a look at the LeaseGuide.com web site before you finalize your decision.

Car leasing has made a big comeback from a couple of years ago. Many car companies, such as Nissan, seriously cut back or completely eliminated leasing in late 2007 and 2008. Now, that’s all changed.

Nissan currently has special car lease deals on nearly every model in their product line. However, the deals are only offered on certain styles of each model.

Following are some of the lease deals being offered by Nissan for November 2010:

2010 Nissan Cube 1.8 S CVT- $179/month, 39 months, $2449 due at signing

2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 S automatic 4 dr sedan or hatchback - $199/month, 39 months, $1999 due at signing

2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 S 4 dr sedan- $229/month, 39 months, $2999 due at signing

2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 S 2 dr coupe – $289/month, 39 months, $2999 due at signing

2010 Nissan Murano 3.5 AWD SUV – $349/month, 39 months, $2999 due at signing

2011 Nissan Murano 3.5 AWD SUV – $369/month, 39 months, $3059 due at signing

Lease deals on most other models are also available. These special leases are genuinely good deals because Nissan has not only reduced the price on which each lease is based, but they have also reduced the lease money factor (finance charge) as well as boosted the lease-end residual value. In combination, all these factors make for a lower lease price than a customer could ever negotiate for themselves.

Volkswagen has just announced a number of outstanding car lease deals that end on November 30, 2010.

These are limited-time incentives that Volkswagen is using to help promote sales of the new line of 2011 models.

The special lease deals are all on 2011 models, are for 36 month terms, 10K miles per year, and require $0 at signing.

You must have a good credit score to qualify for these deals.

As you might already know, leasing offers significantly lower monthly payments that buying with a loan. With leasing, you only pay for the depreciation of a car’s value, rather than paying for the entire car. It’s a great option for many automotive consumers.

Here are the current Volkswagen lease specials:

Volkswagen Jetta S (not including TDI models) – $239/month

Volkswagen CC Sport – $359/month

Volkswagen Tiguan – $329/month

Volkswagen GTI – $349/month

Volkswagen Touareg – $579/month

Volkswagen Golf (not including TDI models) – $269/month

Volkswagen Jetta SportsWagen – $309/month

Volkswagen EOS – $489/month

These are genuinely good lease deals because the lease price has been reduced, the money factor (finance charge) is lowered, and the lease-end residual has been boosted. The combination of these factors makes for a low monthly lease payment.

If you don’t understand how leasing works or how to determine if leasing is right for you, we strongly suggest you take a look at the Lease Guide at LeaseGuide.com.

In addition to its now-traditional excellent special leases on certain models and styles (see Honda Lease Deals), three are also some good low-interest loans (unfortunately no 0% loans however) and a number of healthy factory-to-dealer cash deals. As you might know if you read this website often, factory-to-dealer cash is a “secret” rebate that dealers can use to discount prices. In most cases, the discounts can be combined with low-interest loans, whereas a direct factory-to-customer rebate would not. Furthermore, a price discount is better than a rebate in that sales tax is not due on discounts, but not so for rebates.

Currently, the 2010 Accord and 2010 Civic get special loan rates of 1.9% APR for 24/36 months and 2.9% for 48 months. The 2010 S2000 gets 3.9% APR for 24/36 months and 4.9% for 60 months.

Dealers get factory-to-dealer cash rebates for several 2009 models. As we mentioned, these rebates can, and usually do, end up as customer price discounts. The best deal is for the 2009 Ridgeline with a $3000 factory-to-dealer rebate. The 2009 Accord gets $1500. The Odyssey and Pilot get $1250. The Civic gets $750 and the CRV gets $500.

You can get free dealer price quotes on any of the above vehicles from Edmunds.com. The quotes will automatically include any cash-back rebates or discounts that are currently available.

BMW has announced new incentives and deals for November — actually November through December until 1/04/2010.

Overall the BMW deals are very good, especially on the 2009 models. However, in most cases, the new 2010 models also get good incentives, just not quite as good as the 2009s.

As usual, BMW’s incentives are a bit unusual with some odd variations. Although the company doesn’t often (hardly ever) offer direct factory-to-customer rebates, they are doing it in this round of incentives. The rebates are called “Holiday Credit Cash” and are either $1500 or $2500, depending on the model. Furthermore, most but not all models get the special rebate. In order to qualify for the rebate, the vehicle must be financed or leased through BMW Financial Services.

Most models, including 2010 models, also get low-interest loan deals, which can be combined with the “Holiday Credit Cash.” Although there are some very low interest rates being offered, all for 24/60 months, there are no 0% loan deals in this incentive program from BMW. The best rates are, of course, on 2009 models. Rates range from 0.9% APR (2009 6-Series and M6), 1.9% ( 2009 Z4 and some 7-Series), 2.9% (2009 M3 and X3), 3.9% (2009 3-Series, 2009 and 2010 5-Series, 2010 X3, 2010 Z4), to 4.9% (2010 3-Series, 2010 6-Series, 2010 7-Series, 2009 and 2010 X5, 2009 and 2010 X6).

For a few select models, BMW is providing dealers with factory-to-dealer cash with which the dealer can discount prices on those models, although in some cases the discounts can be restricted, for example, by not being allowed if the customer also wants the special loan interest rate also being offered. This is true for the $2500 dealer cash on the 2009 3-Series and M3. However, the 6-Series and M6 get a whopping $6000 dealer cash deal that can be combined with a very nice 0.9% APR loan rate for either 24 or 60 months.

Overall, these deals are well worth considering if you are in the market for a BMW. In fact, these are some of the best deals we’ve seen from the company this year.

You can get free dealer price quotes on any BMW vehicles from Edmunds.com. The quotes will automatically include any cash-back rebates or discounts that are currently available.
